"The Pavillion Suite is lovely and has a wonderful view on the Lake Bienvenue. It is a generous size and feels like a small flat!"

The breakfast was not good at all - very messy, congested and the food quality was poor. The kitchenette would have benefited from a hob cooker so as to be able to cook meals as otherwise the suite was well equipped

The location was good but slightly far from Taipei Main station. Even snacks were kept for the guests which were not seen in any other hotel. Overall we had a pleasant stay."

"The host was adorable, very helpful and warm. The bed was comfortable, the area was very cute and peaceful. The dining room was cosy and well decorated. Last but not least, the breakfast was varied and delicious, with fresh croissants!"

The shared bathroom could use a renovation (very basic shower with a shower head up on the wall) and the windows in the room were old and should be changed for better isolation. Also, you absolutely need a car as it's a bit far from the bus stop.

You cannot walk to the beach. Taxis are expensive.

"We love the complete breakfast the BnB had and every morning it was a complete meal. The host ensured we were settled in well. As for the location, it is very much aligned to places where we visited at the area. Ubers and Bolt should not have any problem finding the place by the roadside. My wife loved the book collection at their personal library so a good writer's retreat too."

We were content with the place. Everything was in working order right to the room, amenities at our convenience. So no complaints.

As in a lot of places the wifi sometimes doesn't work but that is not specifically for this place though. I blame Africell 😊

The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.

"We always enjoy coming back to this hotel. This was already our third stay and definitely not the last. Every time we arrive, we feel a bit like at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can truly feel the history of this place, which makes the stay even more special. "I had a comfortable night here. The accommodation had a nice open-air eating area with a bar. The staff were kind and helpful. It is very conveniently located for the lakeside and ferry terminal."
