"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

"The Apartment was very comfortable, warm, nicely equipped and has everything you need. It is quiet, the beds are comfortable with two nice bedrooms and dark curtains, so you can sleep very well. It even has a small balcony."

It is quite far away from the city but the Luas makes it very easy to get there, so it is really ok as a location. There is not much around, but the supermarket is close and some food-places too.

I did not understand it when booking, but our room had shared Bathroom and toilet, but it was fine, as there were no other people on the floor except us. Unfortunately the windows in our room are not openable. Even with existing ventilation and side fan it felt abit stuffy in the room.

A proper shower would be nice. And a garden tap would be useful.

Metro and all the Transport are really near and Easy tò take it. we have a 3 month-old baby . our journey finished in the morning but we have the Flight in the evening and Adrienn was kind enough to let us stay in the warmth of the apartment until we left for the airport. "The room was comfortable and Clean. The day we arrived it was hot we used AC. Next day it was raining and super cold like 8 digress so they have Heater working. It was really comfortable. The family Running the Property was so humble and welcoming. It was nice experiencing local culture. The Husband was super helpful. The wife( reception lady) always have smile on her face. We feel like home. And main thing location was really in center of all tourists attention. And breakfast was super good"

"Location and view from balcony of the sea and Orient Bay amazing, sit and watch the sunrise. Walk along the beach to restaurants and bars in the day and evening. Linda was there to greet us, very friendly and helpful. Apartment clean and comfortable. Small shop onsite for bread etc, everyone friendly lots of wild life, birds, bearded dragons and donkeys!"

"The place is wonderful! Spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The area is beautiful and quiet, with all shops very close by. The hosting family is so kind, and we truly felt at home. The neighbors in the neighborhood are also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. The garden and outdoor space are just perfect. There is also a dining hall and a fully equipped kitchen that we used for a barbecue, plus bathrooms available on the ground floor near the kitchen and dining area. Everything was simply perfect and made our vacation safe and amazing. A big thank you for the warm hospitality!"

Located half way between the train/bus station & old town but shops/restaurants are close by. Lovely host who was very accommodating and response to my queries. Would definitely stay here again."

It did mention washing machine, but there wasn’t one in the apartment, but there may have been one available for the apartment complex. I didn’t need to do washing so didn’t follow up about it.

Within 15 minutes of walking you can get directly to the city center and the harbour. The town park is within a 5 minute walk. Marna is a very friendly and humorous person as well. "Location is amazing, everything is so close, a bar and place to eat is 100m away. Friendly staff. The terrace is beautiful, very bright if the weather is good. In overall loved the stay, it was very comfortable."
