Madalena at the desk handles it all perfectly and despite being fully booked the women running breakfast could not have been nicer."

She was incredibly helpful—not only with anything related to the hotel, but also with recommending great places to visit and suggesting beautiful routes worth seeing. Her kindness and professionalism truly made my stay even better."

"Pros: - location: in the centre of the town, 15 minutes walk to every spot: to SPAR supermarket, to bus station, to Dona Ana beach (OK, 20 minutes), to marina and train station (OK, the same as the Dona Ana) :) - staff: friendly, kind and helpful, greetings to Maria (always smiled and cheerful lady supporting us at the breakfast) - room: with TV, fridge, full equiped bathroom (hair dryer, towels, soap and shower gel, bidet and plenty of toilet paper :D)"

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
