"Definitely one of the best value for money accommodations I’ve been to - highly recommend Caravela House to anyone on a budget who spends the majority of their day exploring Lagos. The shared common kitchen is adorable and it has most of the facilities you may need for breakfast or a quick snack - a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker (bring your own pods though), dishes and cutlery."

"There’s no heating in the rooms and common areas so if you’re visiting off-season make sure to bring warm clothes as the property can be quite chilly. No power plug near bed (in my room at least) so a power bank or an extra long 3-meter cable may come in handy if you tend or need to be on your phone for extended periods of time. No toiletries provided so make sure to bring your own shower gel and shampoo."

"Located in town square 15 mins from the beach/train Staff were very friendly and everyone staying there was also warm and welcoming. Room was very clean, lighting in the room is dim so maybe bring a head torch. Fan, lamp, sink and mirror in room, bedside plug"

"The only down side to my experience was 2 of the 3 showers didn't have holders for the shower head, so you'd have to hold it up with one hand while showering with the other 😂"

"The location,in the center of the old town, near to the beach -brought a towel to the beach and go home by foot to took sa Shower. Staff very friendly and helpful,accomodation provided mini kitchen that you can reheat the food,fridge and kettle."

"This is a great, yet rough around the edges, budget lodging. Our room had it's own little balcony, the common spaces, rooftop and kitchen were welcoming and functional."

"There's a bit of disrepair here and there - shared bathrooms are a little run down, and our balcony door was missing a window pane. Being central there is street noise, and the bed was very firm, but not a rock."
