"Everything. The property is stunning. The rural location is rejuvenating and Lourdes is the most beautiful kind person in the world. A true "mullher do norte" aka a warrior with a tender heart and a smile that lights the world. We are going back next month. Portugal is a beautiful wonderful country. The scenery is stunning, but it is the people who make it especially wonderful, beautiful and welcoming. Casa da Eira Longa has embodied all that for over 200 years. Amazing history!"

"Nous avons tout aimé. Marie De Lourdes est une hôte merveilleuse, bienveillante et très attentionnée. Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueilli. La chambre était très confortable et propre. Le goûter et le petit déjeuner était un vrai moment de délice! Le paysage est magnifique. Nos filles étaient ravies également de tous les moments partagés avec notre hôte. Merci pour tout!"

"I had a pleasant stay. I have booked my stay for 2 nights and the hostel is a bit far from the main line train or bus station. But you will get trams and metros to the nearest station and it’s only 6 minutes walk from the stop. Getting around was easy and it’s a hub for weekend evening and watching sunset over the bridge was great. The reception is 24 hrs so you can come and go as you wish. The place was clean and you will get good ally views by just sitting on the window side. They serve breakfast. The option is limited but worth trying it if wanna have a quiet but great stay."

"Located a 10 mins drive from airport and based on the sea coast. Check-in was early with no qualms made as my flight arrived very early from Sao Miguel. City centre a mere 15 mins ( leisurely ) walk away. Room had a salon attached with microwave, coffee making facilities and a fridge. I mentioned previously a salon attached which had its own television ( useful if travelling as a family) and paravane. The balcony equipped with tables and chairs was a nice addition, with a view of the sea and swimming pool. Excellent WiFi and TV with an extensive selection of channels. Excellent breakfast with custom made omelets available. Mini bar prices reasonable. Wonderful running track along sea coast; much better than hotel gym which had virtually 4 machines and two thread mills. No weights."
