"The host was adorable, very helpful and warm. The bed was comfortable, the area was very cute and peaceful. The dining room was cosy and well decorated. Last but not least, the breakfast was varied and delicious, with fresh croissants!"

The shared bathroom could use a renovation (very basic shower with a shower head up on the wall) and the windows in the room were old and should be changed for better isolation. Also, you absolutely need a car as it's a bit far from the bus stop.

"Awesome host. I couldn’t believe the photos from the previous reviews but it’s true, all the photos you see are truly about a 10 step walk from the bedrooms. Simple, but incredible place to stay. The host will make sure you’re well looked after, help you with the tours/ self guided tours nearby and is very helpful with transport knowledge. We loved this place! I will say, if you’re vegan or veggie it’s hard to find food nearby, so maybe ask the host in advance if you can cook some simple food. They let us cook noodles ❤️❤️"

"Our booking was made very late and despite this we were so warmly welcomed. There was beautiful Cape Verdean music being played when we arrived by two incredible musicians which was lovely. And the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The fresh mango juice was particularly mouthwatering!"

"The stay at Casa Isleña exceeded our expectations. It is located on a beautiful beach, the decor is tasteful, it offered by far the best food and drinks on the island and the staff is friendly, courteous and skilled. There were even truly great live music acts. In case we travel to Puerto Rico again, this place is a must-visit. We wish we could have spent more time there.."

"We always enjoy coming back to this hotel. This was already our third stay and definitely not the last. Every time we arrive, we feel a bit like at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can truly feel the history of this place, which makes the stay even more special. "The staff especially the young girl at the counter were very helpful. She helped us a lot in planning our itinerary, which metros to take, and good places to eat . The location was good but slightly far from Taipei Main station. Even snacks were kept for the guests which were not seen in any other hotel. Overall we had a pleasant stay."
