Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. "Very nice and special place, 15 min from the town (it's a beautiful walk along the beach). Placed tight at the beach. Very beautiful common areas with a great unique vibe. Eggs, onions and garlic for cooking available, coffee too. Andres is always around, very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. Beautiful stars in the night."

You can only charge your electronic devices if you give them to Andres (which is easy enough though because he is around a lot). And it's understandable given the location of the hostel.

"Stayed here whilst on a cycle tour in the region, on advice of a friend who lives in Bangkok and had stayed here previously. I was not disappointed. Absolutely charming traditional property on the river and run by a couple that clearly take pride in providing hospitality. I loved it here. Having stayed in everything from backpacker places to 5* hotels, this stay will be remembered fondly for a long time. An excellent evening meal was also provided at a fair price (I gave advance warning I'd need to eat when I booked). Highly recommended."
