"We chose buellsPort as the first stop on our Namibia round trip and really enjoyed it. We didn’t expect too much but really loved the food. Both nights we got served a multi-course home cooked meal utilising game meat and local vegetables. The private hiking paths are really well maintained and set in a beautiful landscape. We also enjoyed the drive towards sossusvlei from buellsport which is in much better condition than the standard tourist route."

"As everywhere in the world, in the hotel business, it’s always the people who make the real difference - and here, the staff is truly exceptional. Everyone was polite, helpful, and ready to assist with any request. I had to wait a bit for my coffee in the morning, but that’s totally fine since many guests were ordering at the same time and there was only one barista. I still got exactly the coffee I asked for, along with a fresh orange juice. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Overall, a lovely experience!"

"Fallegt umhverfi umvafið trjám og endurnærandi sveitastemmningu. Virkilega gaman að hitta hænurnar og gefa þeim að borða. Rjúkandi heitur potturinn og virkilega gott að skella sér ofaní eftir amstur dagsins. Huggulegt að koma í móttökuna og fá sér kaldann eða rjúkandi heitt kaffi í boði hússins. Rosalega almennilegur maðurinn í móttökunni og manni líður mjög heimakomnum. Mjög krúttlegir kofarnir. 10 af 10 mögulegum og ég hlakka til að koma aftur seinna."

Owners not there so being run by backpackers/chef - meant little things were missed. Boat to get there is very overpriced.

"Wat een fijne plek om onze vakantie in Curacao te beginnen. Heerlijk rustig. Op loopafstand van Mambo Beach. Heerlijk zwembad met prachtige nieuwe bedjes met dikke gele kussen. Het huis is perfect. Het heeft alles. Het fijnste was het warme welkom door het personeel. We zijn ons hele verblijf zo goed geholpen. Aanrader!"

"Love Victor and the wife. They treated us like a family. The place is very cosy. The room has a roof window and nice yard to play the snow."

Getting to the location is difficult during winter. Car couldn’t go in so we had to lug through our luggages through the snow. But it was worth it! 😊
