"We felt very welcome and comfortable at Violette's! We ended up getting to the city later than planned and it was very easy to contact Violette and she waited for us to arrive. The room was a great size - and we loved our bath robes and the number of towels provided for us! The breakfast is brilliant - so much bread and homemade jams. Even though we couldn't speak the same language, Violette was very easy to communicate with and very kind!"

"Helpful hosts and a useful quiet location in an old part of town near the Loire and all facilities. The house itself had all we needed for self-catering including a large fridge-freezer. Comfy beds and settee. Light airy rooms. Plenty of fans for hot weather and these were needed in the roof rooms, although in the evening with windows wide open, it did cool down enough to sleep. Ideal accommodation to use the shuttle bus to Chaumont-sur-Loire chateau and garden festival."

"Friendly host who was very helpful, cheerful and advised places to eat locally. We had a lovely breakdast with juice, coffee, tea, bread, croissants, and homemade jam. The fully fitted kitchen was rustic and had everything we needed, including a fridge to keep our own provisions cool. We enjoyed ditting in the courtyard with a glass of wine.
