"The property is incredibly charming and thoughtfully decorated. It’s clear that a lot of love and care has gone into every detail, and it made the stay feel very special and welcoming. I slept amazingly well — the bed and bedding felt like sleeping on a cloud. I was also greeted by the sweetest surprise on arrival: curious and friendly chickens came over to say hello, along with ducks near the pond in the garden. It gave the whole place a magical countryside feeling. The hostess is a very kind and caring woman, and the atmosphere of the home reflects that warmth"

The home is located in a very authentic rural setting, quite close to a farm, so there is some countryside activity in the area. Depending on the time of day you may hear tractors, animals, or a car from the nearby road. When I first arrived there was a noticeable insecticide smell in the air that later seemed to fade. This may be part of the surrounding farmland environment or the hostess trying to keep bugs away. One small practical suggestion for international guests: adding the country code (+33) to the phone number on the gate sign could make it easier to call if needed on arrival.

Pas de chauffage central mais de nombreux radiateurs d'appoint. Odeurs de fosse sceptique dans toutes les pièces d’eau très désagréable.

Attention à la clé du bâtiment, qui peut être fermé et ne pas se trouver toujours à l'endroit prévu (la boîte aux lettres).
