"The hotel was clean and located in an excellent spot. The staff were very professional and helpful. Comfy bed and nice shower. Breakfast included and welcoming drink was a nice touch."

Outside of The a/c not working half the time, Everything was good. Caveat: The room safe wasn’t secured properly.

"We loved being in the middle of the jungle right on the beach! The property was so unique and felt like our "home". We were delighted to have a kitchen fully stocked with utensils and a cute sitting area outside our room. Ramon was super helpful and welcoming, as were his staff."

The property does not have power points or wifi. We were personally okay with this and liked being a bit cut off from the world but this could be something other travellers won't like. Also, there are no shops nearby and the main village is a half hour walk through the jungle so if you are planning on cooking, factor that in!

"Spacious studio in a small, well maintained complex. Pool and BBQ much appreciated. A little walk to the beach and town means quiet at night, away from the clubs and bars."

Some high windows without shades allow light in from maintenance shed at night. Suggest room darkening shades for these.

"The location, right on Playa Hermosa, is beautiful. The site is quite accessible from local roads, and there is parking on-site. It is a much quieter area than nearby El Tránsito,. The hosts are great and accommodating. The room and bath were fine, the room is comfortable with fan and outside air or with air conditioning."

It was a very rainy afternoon, and didn't get clear view of the sunset.

"Cool place. The owner was a really nice guy, always very helpful. Loved the beach front location and the rooms are a good price compared to others in the area. Great pizzas too."
