"Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hat auf Rückfragen direkt geantwortet. Die Lage war sehr ruhig und gut erreichbar. Parkplätze in der Nähe standen kostenlos zur Verfügung. In der Nähe gab es einen Supermarkt für alles, was man benötigt. Vom Ort aus sind die nächsten größeren Stände der Provence sehr gut zu erreichen."
"Es gab leider keine richtigen Töpfe (und keine Pfanne), so dass man sich nichts Warmes zubereiten konnte. Das Bett war überaus schmal, maximal 1,40m - obwohl es genug Platz für ein breiteres Bett gegeben hätte und die normale Angabe "französisches Doppelbett" auf ein 1,80m breits Bett hinweist."

"We stayed overnight walking the Chemin de Compostelle. Staying at Les Chaumes Violettes was the perfect place. The facilities in the house are outstanding, spacious, ultra clean & well thought out. The location is wonderfully tranquil & quiet, overlooking farmland & countryside - yet it is only 1.5km outside Cluis. Dinner & breakfast are available at extra cost, we had both: definately well worth having; good value. Dinner was fantastic, a beautifully cooked 3 course meal eaten with the family (a lovely experience), everything sourced either from their own garden or very close by. Various friendly animals to befriend of all sorts in & around the garden! But more than anything, the genuine, friendly, hospitable owners made our stay truly memorable. Thank you!"
