"Location is good, close to the beach. The locals were swimming at high tide and having picnics in the late evening. You can walk along the beach at low tide to Andernos pier with shops and restaurants c 30mins. ( quicker in the car) Good base for the Arcachon Basin. Spacious bedroom, host lives next door."

"A beautifully decorated well equipped apartment suitable for our group of four adults. The kitchen is fully equipped for making meals and having both a seated bar and table was convenient. The four main bedrooms are equally comfortable with firm double beds. While the separated toilet/sink is slightly inconvenient, the two showers and other full bathroom were wonderful. The host was readily available by text for any questions."

"Cosy little apartment with a nice kitchenette. Bed was quite comfortable and the shower and bathroom were both nice and spacious. The provided towels were soft and there was most necessary stuff for the kitchen."

"It was very clean and everything all modern. It is a few minutes away by car from the Val d’Europe and Disney. In addition close to all amneties. As an area very quiet and peaceful. Very child friendly. Thank you"

"This is a very special place on the island. It's actually not an apartment but a small house in a community of terraced houses where the locals have vacation houses. The vibe is truly bohemian, you feel like a local. The house also contains everythig one would have at home. Its perfect also for a longer stay. Valérie is an amazing host. She lives nearby and come to handover the keys in person. The location is in walking distance to one of the best beaches on the island. Between the main road and the house there is a patch of unspoiled forest. Shopping and for restaurants are in driving distance at Camping le Sud or Agosta Plage."

"Sophie was a wonderful host who welcomed us into her home for three nights. We had a car and each day would go off to explore the surrounding villages and towns she recommended to us. Her suggestions for places to have dinner were very much appreciated and the food always delicious. As Australians, we love to travel and experience daily life as the local residents do. We were able to do this while staying at this property and would come back at day’s end to share our stories with Sophie - much laughter and interesting conversation would unfold. Sophie cooked us a delicious meal with local wine for our final evening. We can’t recommend L’Echappee Belle highly enough!"
