"Super warm and friendly welcome, the host is absoluetly adorable, even had little bunch of fresh flowers waiting for me on the table the day of my arrival. Kitchen and bathroom are rather small, but there is everything you need. Very clean place, some long chairs in the garden, really well located - all in all a really nice place for a great stay on the beautiful Ile de Ré!"

"Excellent location. We could hear the sea and the restaurants and boulangerie were just down the road - ideal for picnics on the beach. The beach was great - clean and good facilities. We liked the little garden at the property and how the property had everything you needed. Plus off street parking. Milk and water in the fridge on arrival. Kettle for tea. The fridge had a freezer compartment - useful for freezer blocks. Good quality mattress on the bed."
"So we are both tall and the bathroom was a little small but we knew that before we booked. The kitchen was very basic but you could produce a meal if needed - we just had picnics on the beach, so just needed a kettle for tea and a good fridge. Extras provided- umbrella, radio etc"

"Veronique was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The decor throughout the property was an eclectic mix, very cultured and thoughtful. Attention to detail was amazing. I wish I had taken a photo of the breakfast table, it was impressive as was the range of fresh fruit, juice, breads/croissants and conserves to accompany them. We would thoroughly recommend Vanille Bourbon and if passing this way in the future we would love to stay again."
