"It is the perfect get away .. everything you need is there. Wonderfully quiet and Connie and Jacq are the perfect hosts. It is well placed for touring the Argonne/Meuse area and the amazing WW1 remains of Main de Massiges are within walking distance. Camp Moreau is a short drive - Verdun is 40mins. Would recommend to anyone .. Thank you C & J"

"Corrine was just the best host possible to have after a long wet day of walking. She took us in and looked after us. We had a log fire to warm us, hot soup, food, clothes washed. She was beyond kind and caring. The bed was very comfortable, the apartment was cosy and felt like home. We had everything we could need, it made a wet miserable day change into warmth and comfort.i wish we could have stayed here every night. The next morning she took us up to main Massiges .I was sorry to say goodbye."

"Leuk huisje op het erf van de eigenaren. Vriendelijke ontvangst met een biertje in de koelkast, fles wijn en verse eitjes. Alles netjes schoon en een goede inventaris voor een eventueel langer verblijf. Mooie natuurlijke tuin, zowel voor als achter het huisje."

"Leuk klein huisje achter het huis van de eigenaren in een grote tuin voor en enorme grote natuurlijke tuin achter het huisje. Helaas konden we er niet zitten i.v.m. het slechte weer maar hebben we lekker de houtkachel aan gehad. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien voor een langer verblijf. Een gastvrije, vriendelijke ontvangst door Corrie met een fles wijn, koude biertjes en verse eitjes van de kippen die rond het huis scharrelen. Mooie badkamer afgeschermd van de kleine slaapkamer. Prima voor een overnachting op doorreis maar zeker ook geschikt voor een langer verblijf. Corrie is een super gastvrouw die met alles voor je klaar staat en direct een elektrisch kacheltje kwam brengen toen ze hoorde dat ik het koud had. Gezellig praatje gehad en voor volgend jaar alweer besproken."

"This was an amazing stay, and I hope to stay again in the future. The hosts are SO welcoming and really go above and beyond. I really love how there are no glaring and wasteful lights on the property. Since the outer building blocks the streetlights, you can stargaze from the backyard with no disturbing lights in sight. It's really rate to find a place in Europe like this, and the location is in the best area of northeast France for stargazing."

"Christoph was super friendly and waited for us at the accommodation. Parking was no problem at all. Communication was absolutely hassle-free and also possible in English. The accommodation itself had everything you could possibly need. From chocolate for the children to milk and juice to a bottle of wine for the adults. There was also a sauna, a jacuzzi, and bicycles available for us to use. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!"

"Absolutely everything. It was wonderful and Denis and Marie were the most wonderful hosts. We stayed for one week and really could have spent longer. A great breakfast on the private terrace and two great meals with Denis & Marie, both times sampling Denis’s fish, caught earlier that day Wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. "The place where the villa is located is wonderful, like in a fairy tale! In the heart of the forest, far from the noise of the cities, where in the morning you can drink your coffee listening to the birds singing...what could be more wonderful?! I recommend this accommodation only for lovers of nature and peace. The owners are helpful, sincere and kind. The accommodation conditions are relatively good, it depends on each person's expectations...if you are a person who loves the city and modern conditions, then this is not the right place for you. The place is more suitable for nature lovers and those who like animals and simple living. Vincent, with people like you, I think the world would be better.
