"Das Haus hat eine Fast-Alleinlage. Es liegt direkt an einer Landstraße, die jedoch eher schwach befahren ist. Die beiden Badezimmer waren neu und tiptop. Der Kamin (kostenloses Kaminholz) im Wohnzimmer funktioniert super und in den Sofas davor sitzt man sehr gemütlich. Die Terrasse ist groß und zeigt nach Süden. Es sind große Sonnenschirme für die Beschattung vorhanden. Im hinteren Teil des Gartens gibt es ein tolles Bocciafeld. Der Gastgeber, der sehr nett ist, stellt mehrere verschiedene Kaffeemaschinen, sogar mit Kaffee, zur Verfügung. Es gibt tolle Wandermöglichkeiten, sowohl direkt ab Haus wie auch in der Nähe (mehrere Burgen). Die Hausübernahme bzw.-übergabe war völlig unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen."

"Für 10 Personen war der große Esstisch ideal, ebenso die gut eingerichtete Küche. Der eingezäunte Garten mit Tor war gut für die kleinen Kinder und die Hunde. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig und die Zimmer sehr geräumig."

"This is simply the best location in Nice. We were spoilt with the stunning view, being able to cross the road to the beach and all the activities. The airport bus as well as the tram is very close and convenient, so le Grand Sud opens up Nice and surroundings to visitors, while offering balmy evenings on the patio enjoying the splendour of the Cote d'Azur. Please do not be distracted by reviews complaining about the fold-away beds. The location and all the other plus points outweigh it by far - and it is a quick change in set-up. Thank you Philipe for being such an attentive and amasing host! We were sad not to meet you in person, but you attended to all our questions and requests with such charm and kind assistance. "Our stay at the apartment was truly cozy and felt like home. Everything in the apartment is arranged with care and convenience for the guests. It was especially nice that, despite our rather late arrival (around 10 p.m.) and the contactless check-in option, our host Auroré personally greeted us, showed us everything, and explained all the details. During our entire stay, she and her husband were always ready to help us with any questions. The location is very beautiful — close to the river and in a quiet area. The RER A station is only a 5–6-minute walk from the house, and it takes about 17–20 minutes to get to Paris. Shops and bakeries are also within walking distance, and every morning we enjoyed the freshest croissants there. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel rooms appear to heve been recently refurbished, it was clean and comfortable, the beds where comfortable too. The room had a kettle which was good and is not always provided in B& B hotels where drinks are provided in reception. The bathroom was compact but clean and tidy. The hotel is pet friendly at extra cost and located a 15 minute walk into the centre of La Rochelle. There is secure parking at the hotel, also at extra cost, which was reasonably priced. The room also had a safe."
