The hostess, was so kind and provided anything I needed, even offered to take me to Chateau Chenonceau as I did not have a car. "This was the most unusual of the trip. It is a concrete building encased in glass. It is beautiful. The large 5 story entry courtyard has a glass roof. Walking in was like walking into a sauna! The person at reception was wearing a coat and we instantly were sweating. At one end of the lobby is a huge pool walled in glass... No wonder the humidity is so opressive! Loved the room. It is huge and well equipped. We loved being able to make a pot of coffee in the room. We spent a month in Europe and this was the only time! The pool was amazing. It is actually some kind of rehab spa and I'm not sure I was supposed to be there but nobody stopped me, so I swam, relaxed and stretched out tired muscles all alone :)."
