The upstairs was particularly impressive, with three beautiful and spacious bedrooms to choose from. Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here if you are passing through the area. "We had a perfect stay at La belle Charentaise! Plenty of room, comfortable beds, secure driveway and the whole space around the house, very quiet location. The hosts were very accommodating, kind and went over and beyond to make sure we had a great time! I cannot thank them enough for helping us to locate our spare car keys, which we left somewhere within the property and only realised hundreds of miles away - they were so kind and sent them to us - I will never forget that! THANK YOU!"

"We enjoyed the peace and tranquility and were able to explore the area, visiting Cognac and Angeloume nearby. The roads were a joy to drive with fields of sunflowers, vineyards and wheat all around. Self catering was perfect and really nice to eat outside in the shade or sit and read."

South facing, it is perfect for evening sunsets after a day exploring the region. 15 mins from Sancerre, 30-50 mins from other beautiful spots and vineyards in the region. Valerie is a great host, highly recommend staying here. Perfect location if you have an event at the Chateau Beaujeu and want your privacy, it is literally 5 mins away."
