The host is responsive when he's needed: when the toilet wouldn't flush, he came in person and brought a professional to fix it within a few hours. Comfortable sofa-bed. Well situated, near pretty much everything, and we felt safe."

"The apartment was recently renovated but the finishes were botched; especially the bathroom door. There is a clear distinction between what the contractor did (meh) and what the host did (good). WARNING about the soap dispenser: more than a few days of use will dry and damage the skin to the point of bleeding. Both of us had multiple cuts on our hands. Buy your own soap! WARNING about the trash: some people seem to think that the trash is to be left inside, at the bottom of the stairs, and that it will magically disappear. That is not the case. The trash has to be taken outside at 18h00. As a result, there's trash at the entrance and it smells like a dump. At least, it didn't smell inside the apartment."
