"Lage sehr gut, sehr ruhig, sehr nah an Geschäften ( kleiner Supermarkt, Bäcker, Friseur, Apotheke…), an eine kleine, gut ausgestattete Markthalle und am Strand von Royan. Zu Fuss schnell in der Stadt, Hafen und Front de Mer. Wirtin sehr nett und hilfsbereit, leicht erreichbar, da ein paar Häuser weiter wohnend. Schöne Spaziergänge der Küste entlang und in Villenviertel, sowie Besichtigung von Royan der 50er Jahren ( Denkmalgeschützt)und des Leuchtturm Cordouan (UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe). Nähe zu den Inseln Oléron und Ré, sowie zu den Städten Rochefort und La Rochelle."

"Une jolie maison au calme, avec tout l' équipement nécessaire pour accueillir une famille et des petites attentions pour les enfants (mentions spéciales pour les jouets bébé et la cape de bain pompier !). La maison est située à quelques mètres de la plage en empruntant de petites allées ombragées. Enfin, la propriétaire se montre disponible pour répondre à toutes vos questions pratiques. Je recommande !"

"La Petite Fontaine is a lovely gite for two, although it looks very small from the outside photos it really is quite spacious inside with a big bathroom upstairs. The charming owners stayed up until past 10pm to welcome us as we were running late and they were mines of information about the local attractions. Being in a tiny rural hamlet it is very quiet and there are several countryside walks that can be started from the front door. The location is good being right on the Charente/Dordogne border and the little town of Montbron is just a 20minute walk away or 4 minutes by car for little shops and eateries. Montbron also has a well-stocked Intermarché hypermarket with a petrol station and car charging points. The towns of Brantôme en Perigord (in the Perigord/Limousin national park) and Jarnac (in the beautiful Cognac region) are worthy of note within an hour's drive."

"Alles was perfect in orde : vanaf de eerste tot de allerlaatste dag zijn er enkel positieve punten. De slaapkamers/badkamers zijn zeer goed uitgerust met onder andere perfecte bedden Op het gelijkvloers is eveneens alles aanwezig. Vanaf het terras heb je een ongelofelijk uitzicht over het schitterend onderhouden domein!"

"We booked this apartment as the reviews were great and it offered good value for the money in a great location to visit both the centre of town and Champagne Avenue. There was no extra charge for our dog and as we were spending all day sightseeing and touring the Champagne houses this seemed perfect. Although the apartment doesn't come with parking other reviewers had said there was street parking outside and nearby so this was great as we have a car. The apartment has most amenities you need however we never used much as we were hardly there. It did get very hot during the night but the host had provided a fan which was much needed and used."

"We liked the location, the living space, the bedroom, the bathroom and separate toilet, it was all a good size and clean. Of course the view is fabulous, plus overlooking Alexandre Park makes it a lovely and very convenient to the city.
