"La Martinoise was absolutely the best accommodation we could have hoped for. It’s in a great location close to the centre of Saint Martin. There was everything that we needed for the perfect stay on Ile de Ré, the kitchen was well equipped and the pantry items (and complimentary bottle of rosé and water) provided were much appreciated, it was very clean, beautifully decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable. The host Alex very kindly met us at the property both on arrival to thoroughly explain everything to us and give recommendations, and on departure to check that everything went well and to get our feedback. I highly recommend this accommodation, it was by far the best accommodation in the 7 weeks of travelling in France, and also the best experience with an accommodation booking! "Fantastic location. Several of Dieppe's supermarkets only a 5 min drive. Dieppe's center and restaurants a 10 min drive. While the house itself is in a lovely picturesque and quiet village, full of flowers, instagrammable old houses and traffic free walks for our dog. The garden is completely dog proof, with very little external noise to set off the barking. Kitchen has everything. Wi-fi fast and reliable. And the Puy beach is really only a 7-10 min walk, has toilets, ice cream and snacks vans. We were worried about some comments about access and parking. No problems there. Access is via a one way road, but the Owner sent very detailed instructions, even including an aerial view. Parking is inside the front garden, behind the property's gate. Enough space to park and maneuver a bmw x3 comfortably."

"We had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved this accommodation. The location is excellent, very easy to access and close to all major attractions. We were a group of five (two couples and one single person), and everyone had plenty of privacy and comfort, which made the stay perfect for our group. A real highlight was the proximity to the open market, where we bought the most delicious food for breakfast and dinner, such a great local experience. The apartment is modern, bright, and sunny, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. So, everything was perfect. We were honestly sad to leave and would happily come back again."

"Nous avons passé un tres bon séjour, le gîte est rénové avec goûts, bien équipé et est très spacieux. Les chambres sont confortables. L'accès se fait facilement avec une boîte à clef mais on sent tout de même un accueil chaleureux et l'envie de faire passer un bon moment (hôte arrangeante sur les heures d'arrivée et départ, bois à disposition pour le poêle...). De jolies balades possibles à partir du village et un terrain de pétanque !"

"A delightful, good-sized property for 2 in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Very well appointed with almost all the amenities you could ask for. Comfortable bed in a bedroom with plenty of storage, good shower room with lots of hot water, very good kitchen with decent sized fridge/freezer and a comfy lounge. Lovely outdoor space and pool (NB more a plunge pool that a swimming pool but very welcome in the hot weather). Parking is easy (car is essential) and the Gite is set about 2 Kms from Lagnes (boulangerie, pharmacy/medical centre, boucherie, bar, auberge and a convenience store) and about 15 mins from L'Isle sur la Sorge where there's Intermarche and Super U. Great location to explore Avignon, Arles, Pont du Gard, the Luberon and as far as the Camargue and Aix whilst only about 90 mins from Marseille airport. And excellent support throughout our stay from Belinda (who works for the estate agency acting on behalf of the owner). Highly recommended."
