"Such a lovely place to spend first night of Camino Francés. Stunning view from our room and warm room where we could get dry as it had been very wet. Communal pilgrim supper and all staff very friendly and helpful. Meant we didn’t have such a long hike to Roncasvalles."

"I stayed in a private room on my first night of the Camino and it was a good place to stop after travelling all day and then just over an hour's walk on the Napoleon route. They provide a dinner and it was very good and filling so plenty fuel for the following day. I didn't take the breakfast as I chose to stop at orrison after another couple of kilometres as I'm not an early eater but I heard from others I walked with that it was also good. The place has some tables and chairs, vending machines and a bathroom which are outside and open if you arrive early which was good to relax a little. Place was very clean and the hosts were friendly."

"A fairytale location in the French countryside. The dinner was absolutely amazing - please book in for this feast when you stay! The room was comfortable and clean, and we loved the view from the balcony - hills and valleys for miles, and tranquil farm scenes (tiny calf and his cow family, a donkey, horse and cats) to be admired all around."
