"1. Very good Wi-Fi (and it's our first apartment in France where Wi-Fi password is provided in the simplest way ever - by QR code 😍 2. Very nice owner - she remember to secure stairs with baby gates for our small kid 3. Private parking place next to the apartment 4. Great garden with plenty of items for children (bicycles, darts, toy blocks, books and many, many more) 5. Quite comfortable mattres (at least the one on the double bed 😉) 6. Good "base" to explore this part of Normandy (Etretat, Fecamp, Le Treport, Rouen) 7. Carrefour and Leclerc only 7km away"

"1. The only toilet is separate on the first floor almost on the stairs & very small and shallow - one of the worst toiles I have ever have in the apartments 2. The bedrooms are interconnecting (which is not mentioned in the description) 3. There is plenty of unnecessary stuff in the apartment (I prefer more space) 4. A bit too cluttered and therefore looks slightly dirty after a few days (but it seems standard for French apartments - to put all possible items in it 😉 ) 5. Terrible and dangerous exit from the parking onto a narrow road - without any assistance, e.g. mirrors 6. Low quality of the dishes and pots 7. A fire alarm going off (on the first floor!) while frying... pancakes (no smoke etc.)"

"The house has a great feel of an old norman village house, very cozy and quiet. When it was not raining, we liked the outdoor playground (small footbal pit, petanque track, table tennis) and the garden very much. Shops (Carrefour, bakery) are in the nearby town (10-minute car ride). The communication with the hostess was very quick (although some Google Translate skills were necessary), and non-evident things like getting a late post to the house address went on smoothly. We were with another family of our friends (who rented the second house) and enjoyed our stay very much."

"The toilet is on the upper floor while the bath/shower is on the ground floor, so you'll see some people running stairs. The oven is a bit unflexible in setting the right temperature, so we had to redo the quiche a few times (setting off the smoke alarm in the meanwhile :) )"
