"Impeccable!!! Words cannot adequately describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Chateau Papounan, in the studio ‘Les Vignes’ . If we could, we’d give it 15/10! We really appreciated the warm welcome we received from Sylvaine and Jacques, this made us feel relaxed and immediately at home. Nothing proved to be too much trouble for them to ensure that we were completely comfortable. The studio was beautifully decorated and well equipped, we wanted for nothing, and the bed was a delight to sleep on. The breakfasts were sensational and deserved several Michelin stars! The recommendations for a variety of winery visits were fantastic and our hosts were extremely helpful in arranging some of these, especially on May 1st! We learnt something new every time. This trip was certainly a ‘bucket list’ item come true!"

Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente bien, Jacques et Sylvaine ont fait de leur demeure un endroit très agréable que l'on a du mal à quitter. Chambre spacieuse, salle de bain lumineuse très confortable, jardin très bien entretenu ou il fait bon flâner et prendre le petit déjeuner, le Château de Papounan est un bijou et y résider est une expérience magique. Jacques et Sylvaine ont le gout de la rencontre et sont à l'écoute des moindres désirs de leurs hôtes; de plus ils nous ont très bien conseillés en ce qui concerne les visites et activités possibles dans la région. Et quels petits déjeuners inoubliables!!! Vous l'aurez compris, nous sommes revenu enchanté de notre séjour et ceci grâce à Jacques et Sylvaine, merci encore à eux"

Sylvaine is managing overall chateau decoration and it's stylish design, Jacques is a guru of best-of-class homemade breakfasts which are at the level of a Michelin-star restaurant. Rooms are clean. Location is ideal if you have a car, a private parking is available at the property."

"Die Gastgeber Jacques und Sylvaine waren der Knaller. Wir kamen uns so vor als wären wir bei alten Freunden zu Gast. Herzlicher geht es nicht mehr. Sie haben uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und uns ein grandioses Frühstück zubereitet. Das Chateau war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber und schön. Die Lage ist ein einem Dorf, in dem es sonst nichts gibt als Weinreben. Ohne Auto ist man auf geschmissen. Wir können Chateau Papounan wärmstens empfehlen."

"Sehr ruhige Lage des Superior Studios im Parterre, sehr gut eingerichtet und neu. Super Frühstück mit hausgemachten Produkten, welche täglich wechseln. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Schöne Gegend für Spaziergänge in den Weinbergen und guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge."
"Toilette etwas eng. Gute Restaurants muss man Wochen vorher reservieren. Trotz Bemühungen des Gastgebers war kurzfristig gar nichts zu machen. Schade."
