"Perfectly placed as you can get there by Metro stops "republique" and "temple". You will have a market in front of the building where you can get anything at low price (used by locals). Still, the house has tools to cook or at least let you have a cup of tea if you want. Bathroom ok, bed is ok, the space in the house is not so much but enough for a weekend or even longer time if you need a place to stay in bed and have a shower. Bath foam, soap, bottle of water and coffee Nespresso machine are included, and that's not nothing. Instructions to check in are well described"

"A very friendly welcome from our host who speaks perfect English. An excellent property in a wonderful location right adjacent to the lock on the canal. Very generous sized property which was beautifully warm. We only stayed overnight but this would make an excellent place to stay for a week or more with a host of interesting places to visit locally. And, if you bring your bike the canal would be excellent for cycling along."
