AU BONHEUR

"A lovely property and very friendly welcome from Fred. Thank you so much. Fred made sure we understood everything and was happy to help us. The property is a self contained annex to Fred's house which worked well. If we needed anything Fred was available. However, we enjoyed our privacy too. A highlight was sitting in the sunshine reading and watching the chickens. The flat is well equipped with WIFI and access to Netflix and Prime. Good access to Pau by car and all at a good price. Parking was secure in the garden with a locked gate."

"It was really hot on our 2nd (and last) night and so we could have done with a fan. It was quite late at night when we realised and so we did not want to disturb Fred. I am sure that if we had asked Fred earlier then he would have provided a fan."

"Au Bonheur was out in the countryside so you really need a car to get anywhere. But, that can also be a blessing if you don’t want the hassle of the city. Everything in the house seemed new and clean and also very secure."

"Although it is advertised with a washing machine and dryer, this is not readily available to guests."

"El dueño es encantador, muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar en lo necesario. Nos dejó huevos frescos de sus gallinas, café, té y chocolate soluble para desayunar, cosa que agradecemos profundamente. Teníamos absolutamente de todo en cuanto a cocina se refiere, todo muy completo, incluso para poder limpiar lo que ensuciamos, pastillas de lavavajillas, etc. La verdad es que nos ha encantado, lástima que fuera para una noche y no esté disponible para nuestra vuelta de vacaciones."

"Las almohadas me resultaron incómodas debido a mi problema de cervicales, pero es algo habitual en mi, es difícil encontrar algo que me venga bien."

"Een vriendelijke gastheer die alles duidelijk uitlegde. De woning heeft veel faciliteiten, is van alle gemak voorzien. Parkeren op het eigen terrein achter een electrisch afgesloten hek. Prima bedden en alles was goed schoon. Een aanrader dus."

"Propriétaire super accueillant. Cadre magnifique. Très propre, hyper bien aménagé et équipé. Dommage que nous ne restions qu'une nuit, nous n'avons pas pu plus en profiter. Petit + pour le café et the offerts ainsi que le petits gâteaux et les œufs des poules du jardin !! Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir et pour plus qu'une nuit."
