"The staff was really friendly, helpful and nice. Hugo, the owner and his wife were there to attend the guests in a calm and serene way, making us feel very welcome. Their youngest daughter Ania, is adorable. We could feel that the hotel has been done with love and care. It is like a small museum, full of interesting objects, books and articles from different newspapers and magazines telling us the history of the region, the hotel, the owner, the local people, the flora and fauna, etc. It all felt very personal. The bar, the chimney, the courtyard with fruit trees, etc so very nice.. The location is perfect, in between Bahuichivo, where the train arrives and Cerocahui the small town. With plenty of trails for walking and exploring the beautiful landscape."
