Þessir þriggja sumarbústaðir eru hvílirir í friðsælli sveit Matjiesvlei-dalsins og framselja víðáttumikið sjónarhorn yfir Swartberg-hæðirið frá sérveröndunum. Gestir geta slakað á í setustofunni við hliðina á viðararni innandyra. Sumarbústaðir River View Cottages eru með einföldum innréttingum og bambusltítti. Allir bústaðirnir eru með sérbaðrúmgóð herbergi. Gestir geta borðað úti, á svölunum eða við borðstofuborðið. Allir bústaðirnir eru með fullbúið eldhús með spanhelluborði, ísskáp og örbylgjuofni. Að Auki er boðið upp á grill fyrir hefðbundinn braai-grill. Sumarbústaðir River View eru hluti af árbóndabænum Matjiesvlei sem gestir geta kannað á hjóli eða fótgangandi. Hægt er að veiða og fara á kanó á ánni. Ókeypis einkaörugg bílageymsla eru í boði á staðnum og næsti bær, Calitzdorp, er í 14 km fjarlægð. Oudtshoorn er í 60 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá River View Cottages. Vinsamlegast athugið: Sumarbústaðir með mynd yfir ána rúma ekki börn yngri en 18 ára.

"River View Cottage is ideally located, in the middle of the Klein Karoo mountains, close to a river where it is possible to swim and to canoe. Views are fantastic. The cottage is tastefully decorated and the appliances are of great quality. The host is very friendly and offers good service."

"Perhaps a queensize bed rather than the double that is currently there. its a bit too small for a couple of tall people . If possible an aircon in the bedroom . and i thought perhaps a built in bench seating outside in an L shape with foam cushions on top would make it very comfy for afternoon reading , sleeping . the little couch isn't too comfy'. ."

"What a fantastic place, maybe the best place we have stayed in Southafrica. You can sit all day and Fall into trance over the view from the cottages. Magical. The cottages are comfortable and so well designed that you think you are in a classy hotel, but with personality. And a perfect personal service fron Gondwyn. And then all the things you can do, swim in the river, padle the canoe/kayak for free or take beautifull walks. Or just sit on the veranda and enjoy. Highly recommended. We were there for 5 days. "River View Cottage is a gem. The attention to detail to ensure guests are comfortable is very special. The views from the cottage is spectacular. We did the Steering Kloof hike and it was like walking in a fairytale world. We stayed three nights, should have stayed four. It is a place that soothes the soul."
