Deer Cottage er með útisundlaug og er staðbundinn á einkareknu dýrabýli við Brakkefontein-veginn rétt hjá Kirkwood. Sumarbústaðurinn er umkringdur villtu lífi og á rætur sínar að rekja til ársins 1890. Gestir geta séð dádýr frá stóru veröndinni. Setustofan er með arinn og fullbúið eldhús er til staðar. Baðherbergin tvö eru með sturtu eða baðkari og ókeypis snyrtivörum. Sumarbústaðurinn er með sólarknúna lýsingu og gasgoshver, ísskáp og eldavél. Á staðnum er garður með barnaleikvelli og grillaðstöðu. Deer Cottage er í 1 klukkustundar akstursfjarlægð frá Port Elizabeth-flugvelli og ströndum. Addo Elephant-þjóðgarðurinn er í 76 km fjarlægð. Gestir geta fengið almennar vörur frá Kirkwood eða borðað á nokkrum veitingastöðum sem eru allir í innan við 25 km radíus.

"The cottage is rustic, clean, quaint and comfortable. The outside braai area had light and the hearth was wonderful to stand next to. The night sky and stars were incredible. Seeing the 3 giraffe and the buck both evenings was an unexpected treat. The quietness was wonderful to experience. Johnston was a true gem of a gentleman!"

Die Unterkunft ist einfach mit einer zweckmässigen Einrichtung (mit Gasherd und Solar-Licht. ) Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. ...einfach grandios :-)"
