"As expected when staying in the historical center there is some street noise at night. Also, the physical room key has to stay at the front desk. There is 24/7 staff, but it can feel awkward to have to bother someone to open the front door every time you come and go."

Old school, unreconstructed art deco comfort with a funky elevator and outstanding views of Montevideo. For a crazy low price, all things considered. Not fancy, not a luxury hotel but so much character and charm. Easy walking distance to local attractions"
