Formosa 101 is located in Taipei and some guestrooms offer views of Taipei101. Free WiFi access is available and Tonghua Night Market is a 2-minute walk away. The hostel is a 10-minute walk from Taipei101 Subway Station and a 7-minute walk from Liuzhangli MRT Station. It takes 15 minutes on foot to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. The rooms all provide air conditioning, privacy curtain and sockets near the bed. Each unit is accessed through key card. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning. You may cook at the shared kitchen, social at the shared lounge, or have fun playing board games with friends. Laundry and tour suggestion service are available. American style buffet breakfast is served daily.

I saw some comments complaining about outside noise, I guess that depends which room you get. The dorm without window only had noise from the corridor, which can be heard if there are loud guests."
"• A slower door closer would be welcome, as the main noise through the night was from the door slamming when people came in and out of the dorm. • The hostel is spread across three different floors (5, 9, 12), each with a different space, so you end up navigating through the floors and elevator quite often, and are required to take off and put on your shoes each time, which is a bit cumbersome."

Area was quiet and near visitor centre and the jump off point of the paragliding. Great breakfasts; one at b&b abd one packed at day of departure."
