"Loved the place layout. The restaurant and pools conveniently located. The pool on the adult side was nice and big. For us the added bonus was hot water for showering. Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Accommodating at the restaurant with food orders."

"The road to get there was not so great and a little confusing, specially at night. A bell to the parking entrance would be an improvement. I would also suggest small bags for the washroom garbage."

"La atención del personal de restaurante, siempre atenta y muy amable, la calidez del personal fue sin duda alguna lo más notable, el excelente descanso fue excelente por el ambiente y el alrededor del área. Pero algo que nos encantó muchísimo la comida, sin duda alguna se degustó muchísimo (almuerzo)"

"Que la piscina principal, estuviera en mantenimiento por ello, no estaba disponible para uso de los huéspedes, se que no depende del hotel pero la carretera por las lluvias presentaba charcos grandes, talvez chequear el tema del agua caliente, aunque no es necesario por el maravilloso clima (pero por los niños).."

"Al momento del check out del hotel ingresaron vendedores ILEGALES de huevos de tortugas, observe qué a venderle a una trabajadora del hotel, una mujer los recibió, aclaro que la venta y consumo de huevos de tortuga es ILEGAL. No deberían de permitir que se venda o consuma o ingresen este tipo te alimentos en su hotel..."

"Host Sussy was wonderful. Great communication and very friendly. She treated us like we were longtime friends. This is a new townhouse. Home was super clean and full of amenities. Very nice towels. AC worked great. Property is on a dead end street so no traffic. Super quiet. Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. We made coffee every day. Washing machine and dryer on property. They had hot water in the showers..As a picky guest we had nothing to complain about. Lots of good local restaurants and many offer delivery. Great location if visiting attractions like cerro verde , ruta de las flores and hot springs. Would definitely come back to this property!"

"The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, the room was very clean, the kitchen is well equipped, cute garden and some tables to eat outside and enjoy the weather, everything is very nice. Short walk to the beautiful beach of El Zonte and surrounded by restaurants and tiendas. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and I would like to thank in particular Samuel, who helped me in a very stressful situation with a shuttle bus. You will be well taken care off at La Canasta"

"Being on the west coast, the sunsets are excellent. You can sit at the restaurant downstairs and watch the sun go down, or walk an extra 20m and sit on the beach. The room has a great aircon, which is essential in this area. The room is also very spacious."

"The hotel is right next to a small beach, mostly sand but some rocks at one end. Rock free sand is nice, waves rolling volcanic rocks against ones feet not so much. Very peaceful during the week, weekends may be different. Rooms are bright and nicely decorated. It's great to sleep with open window to the sound of ocean, no mosquitos arrived to 3rd floor to spoil that but may depend on season. There is restaurant that was not open at the time of visit, so i took advantage and sat there with a perfect ocean view. Numerous seafood restaurants nearby, some supermarkets. Also possible to walk to town for market and pupusas. Kind staff. Resident cat, likes to mind his/her own business. Rooms with balcony might be even better."

"The staff were super awesome and attentive. The son of the owner was really nice and welcoming as well. The rooms had a beautiful view and the beds were comfortable. There was also a small restaurant/bar that was right next to the lake which made for a beautiful place to have breakfast and grab drinks."
