A short walk to the castle through some beautiful woods - it really felt like being in a fairy tale! Dinner in the castle was top notch, with amazing food and wine, and all at a reasonable price. "The hotel / castle is beautiful and romantic. We were upgraded to a wonderful spacious room. The history of the castle was seen in our room (old paintings, furniture). Bead was confortable. Bathroom and shower were in the corridor, but there where slippers and bathrobe in our room. We stayed of season so were alone in the corridor. The restaurant and dinner were really good. The service was friendly."

"We really liked the friendly staff in the reception and waiters. We first decided for a room with own bathroom but we could easily change it to a room in the castle. The setting and interior is amazing and cozy. Even though we had shared bathroom there was no queue for it. The restaurant is also very great. If staying only one night in Växjö, this has to be one of the top choices"
