Åtellet Hotell opnaði aftur í apríl 2009. Það er komið fyrir við mynni Norrtälje-árinnar og er eyjaklasinn og sjórinn í göngufæri. Miðbær Stokkhólms er í þægilegri fjarlægð með strætisvagni. Gististaðurið er byggt í 19. aldar stíl og er með fyrsta flokks nútímalega aðstöðu. Hugmyndin var ađ endurskapa karakter Norrtälje og andrúmslvanalega ūeirra tíma. Åtellet býður upp á veitingastað, kaffihús og barþjónustu, gufubað, setustofur og ráðstefnuaðstöðu. Gistaðstaðan eru með andrúmslalgengt sem sækir innblástur sinn til eyjaklasans. Flest rúmgóð herbergin eru með svalir eða franskar svalir og hafa frábært fallegt útsýni yfir Norrtälje-flóann. Stíllnar sækja innblástur í sígildan norrænan stíl með áherslu á þægindi og hentugleika. Húsgögnin hafa verið sérsmíðuð fyrir Åtellet af lítilli trésmíði í Småland.

"Staff were so welcoming, pleasant & helpful. Loved the decor, it felt warm & cosy. Location excellent, short walking distance to shops & along the lake. Breakfast was fresh & adequate to start your day. Our room had a balcony which was wonderful as we had exceptional weather."

"Beautiful, spacious room and lovely location overlooking the river. We'd been on a bit of a trip around the country staying in very basic accommodation, so it was lovely to be greeted with such attractive accommodation for our final night in Sweden. Parking was really easy right outside the hotel and it wasn't expensive. You can walk to everywhere in town from the hotel."

"The shower tended to get the whole bathroom floor wet, and some of the staff blanked us. But otherwise a really lovely hotel, and some nicer members of staff about too!"

"Nice location (20 min walk from train station), not in the ”center” but there are buses nearby. The pub was very nice, and the thai restaurant next door as well. There was a billiard table that we didn’t get to try but it’s a cool bonus. Sauna and pool were okay. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was nice. Overall good experience"

"Fantastic location and a very unique hotel with a cool retro lift in the middle. Loved the sauna but would’ve liked a stream room too which looked like it was out of order. Fabulous bar in the middle which could’ve used some slightly louder music to give it more of an atmosphere. Would really recommend this hotel in such a beautiful town."

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. "Lovely hotel, the room and bathroom were pretty small but it's very functional, clean and comfortable, larger suite rooms are available if that matters to you. I can see how it could get stuffy in there in hot weather (like many hotels) but it was perfectly comfortable for us in early September. Although it might be considered to on the basic side, it was adequate for what I required. The bed was comfortable.
