Rooms are in the outhouses, which are lovely, but midwinter not ideal if you wanted to put fancier shoes on to walk to eat food at the restaurant I think it would make a great destination for a girlie getway - a walk in the beautiful park, watch Bridgerton or Downtown Abbey, eat food etc"

"A beautiful hotel, my room was spacious, lovely and the shower was hot with great pressure. Fabulous old building well looked after. Great to see fruit and vegetables being grown in the garden and locally sourced food used in the restaurant. I hope to stay here again in the future as it's a beautiful place."

The hotel is right beside Judarskogen Nature Reserve which I was visiting for parkrun, ideal spot to stay with just a 15 minute walk to the start line.There's a horse stables next door to the castle also and it looked like you can go on a trek in the park. The castle has a sauna but it wasn't working during my stay."

"It was good experience staying in 16 century old beautiful and charming place. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious. Place is very close to Metro, staff were nice and very friendly. They were kind and photographed information about history of the place for me. Without me asking them they did re-stock few things in the bathroom and removed used. Good quality breakfast!"

"Super happy to have found this little gem, it is a little castle with large grounds, free carpark (which is super hard to find in Stockholm) with the added bonus of being located opposite the Metro Station so we could park the car and go in and explore Stockholm. Super quiet room but could not get it to cool down enough, we pulled the curtains for the afternoon to stop the sun coming in but still had to sleep with the window wide open (felt a little unsafe as it was a ground floor room in the annex next door)....I mentioned it in the morning and she was going to ask the maintenance man to take a look at it, as it was not a hot night! Guest lounge. Excellent breakfast."

"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."
