"Our room at the Aber Hotel was large and lovely, with comfortable beds, a long desk, a comfortable chair, ample storage space, a small fridge, and a nice bathroom. The lobby is attractive and welcoming. Off the lobby is a cheerful and attractive cafe where you can get pastries, sandwiches and excellent coffee, either to enjoy there or to take out. The breakfast delivered to the room is selected from a few options off a menu. The Saudi Arabian breakfast option is tasty and plentiful. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. In fact, one day I forgot my backpack in an uber, and the driver was very responsible in trying to return it to me, but didn't speak English. I sought the help of the hotel front desk and the nice man at the reception desk got my backpack returned quickly by communicating directly by phone with the uber driver."

"Overall, Aber is a great place to stay. I would happily return there. The only imperfect element was that the Aber restaurant on the ground floor wasn't in operation, and food via room service was only available for breakfast and, I believe, lunch. We weren't able to find a good restaurant for dinner within easy walking distance. Of course, there's always Uber, and there is a take-out option from a nearby restaurant that's fine for one or two nights."
