"Good location, opposite a modern shopping mall with plenty of food options. Also only about 20 minutes to central Asunción by Uber or many bus options. The airport is also not far. Nice modern hotel with compact but comfortable rooms and a good choice at breakfast. The staff were also very good."

"The walls are a bit thin so you can hear noise from the corridors or next door, but it's not bad enough to be disturbing."

"Helpful personnel, easy process of check-in / check-out, two Asuncion's nicest shopping malls just at the doorstep, just right temperature in building, nice view."

"Some impracticalities and bad ergonomics in bathroom. For example, just one fixed shower head, toiled bowl too small for tall person, toilet roll holder too close to the knee, no holders for soap around the sink... Doors are slamming pretty hard - makes noise."

"We stayed at Rio Hotel during our trip to Ciudad del Este and found the location perfect — close to all the major stores and malls. The hotel offers parking, which is a big plus in the area. Breakfast was good, and the on-site restaurant is a convenient option for dinner. If you feel like exploring, there are also several interesting restaurants nearby, including some Taiwanese and a very nice Korean place. The rooms were clean and reasonably sized. We were traveling with our young daughter, and the hotel was very accommodating — the first time they provided a little bed with a mattress for her, and the next time even a crib. She had a great time! We enjoyed our stay so much that we already came back for a second visit — and everything was just as good the second time around!"
