"Excellent staff. Extremely friendly and helpful. Good conversation after dinner, although we couldn’t put the world to rights! Good advice on our cycle route to our next stop. An excellent 3 course dinner with very good wine. Room smallish but with comfortable bed and clean facilities. Good value for money."

The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
