Casa do Outeiro er herragarðshús þar sem nýjasti hluti hennar var byggður árið 1755 og var að fullu enduruppgerður árið 2012 en haldið hefur verið í upprunaleg svæðisbundin spor. Það er settur í þorpinu Sobradelo da Goma, 30 km frá hinni sögulegu borg Braga. Casa do Outeiro er umkringt ýmsum aldingörðum, grænmetisgörðum og víngarði. Safnið Museo de Arte Sacre í klaustri Port d'Ave er í um 6 km fjarlægð og Gullsafnið er í um 3 km fjarlægð en þar geta gestir dáðst að handgerðum skrauti frá innflytjendum. Peneda-Gerês-þjóðgarðurinn er í 30 km fjarlægð og Povoa de Lanhoso er í 15 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Casa do Outeiro.

"WOW what a special place with so much history, we loved absolutely everything about our visit. Wonderful well kept and renovated property that captures the wonders of history and Portuguese culture. A petit boutique hotel lost in the valleys of the country side with enough privacy to feel comfortable but a touch of family to make it feel welcoming and warm. Lovely breakfast with fruit and homemade cake. Everything was just perfect. Would definitely recomend and return."

The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family.
