"Everything! The view, the well kept grounds and the beautiful nature, amazing sunset and just one in a lifetime experience for us and our kid who “slept” on a house on a tree. We loved the design of the bungalow we stayed and in general how this lodge was created."

"Loved the aesthetic of the whole place. This is an exceptionally beautiful location and the fales all have their own very private aspect. The rooms are unconventionally built using modern takes on heritage materials, and are comfortable, spacious and interesting. All facilities are designed with the user in mind. Wifi is only available at the restaurant, which got our teenagers a bit more energised. There is plenty to do around the place with the highlight being the Thomas Church inspired pool; sheltered and beautifully designed."
"Having to go to the restaurant for fresh drinking water is a bit of a drawback, but not major. The restaurant is expensive to eat at, but the food is good, and the cost is not out of line with resorts etc, also the kitchen facilities in the room mean you have a choice to eat there or not."
"Beautiful setting with 2 swimming pools surrounded by well maintained gardens and lovely staf"
"Bed was a bit hard"
"Beautiful natural organic shapes. Very earthy place to relax."

"This is one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. The facilities were beautiful (we were in Aito cabin and it was one of the more basic ones comparatively and it was still mindblowly beautiful!!!). The views were amazing, great shower and comfortable beds with the perfect balance of simple of luxurious. It rained during our stay for at least half of it and it honestly didn’t matter. We also thought the wifi was good in the hut and it was nice to disconnect at other times and the food was honestly unbelievable. I couldn’t believe some reviews say just okay. Yep, it’s expensive but food is very expensive in French Polynesia. The service was amazing - especially for two non French/Tahitian speakers, they were so kind and accomodating. The value for money overall was incredible, this was the cheapest place of our stay and perhaps the best. Don’t second guess at all, just book. Ps. Book the wave safari - you won’t regret it."
"Honestly nothing but just be weary of the very steep driveway. There is mirrors to help - we had no issues in our very tiny rental car."
"This place is AMAZING. We stayed in Vai Iti, which had an uninterrupted view of the sea and it was not visible by anyone; we had COMPLETE privacy and our own jacuzzi and hammock. The property is nestled up in the jungle and we were able to enjoy all the sounds of nature and no people sounds at all. (Due to the remote location, make sure you get a car!) All this combined with the extremely reasonable price and I would 110% stay here again."
"Since you're up in the jungle, there are lots of mosquitos. Make sure you bring a bug repellent of some kind for the mosquitos. They sell some at the supermarket on Tahiti but if you have a favorite citronella candle you like, bring it with you!"
"Outstanding- such an exceptional place to stay- such design and build. Fantastic views and gardens"

"Very close to great snorkeling beach. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was superb. Lovely mini resort feel. We really enjoyed our last two days on Tahiti Nui there. 100% would stay again. Lovely facilities. Thank you very much."

"In my opinion, the best hotel on the island in terms of value for money. The most famous sandy beach, Matira Beach, is located close to the hotel (about a 10-minute walk)."

"In town, easy to stroll around. Near the cruise terminal (which I needed). Had a small swimming pool and deck area - lovely for an afternoon dip. Balcony with views inland to the mountain. Restaurant rather expensive."

"Best pace in Papeete to spend the afternoon and evening before flying out at 3am. Absolutely amazing gardens and pools and facilities. Staff across all departments are Fantastic. The different pools are great especially the one with the sand bottom and swim up bar and views of Moorea."

"The place is great, the water is very shallow which is kid friendly. You can take the kayak and SUP for free. In the onwater bungalow has a glass teatable which can open and feed the fish directly inside. Really wonderful experience. Staffs are super friendly."

"We had a wonderful stay at Opoa Beach Hotel. The hotel is very clean and set in an exceptionally beautiful location, right by the water. It is located about a 50-minute drive from both the airport and Uturoa, but the journey itself is incredibly scenic and picturesque — you honestly don’t feel the time passing at all. The bungalows are spotless, charming, and extremely comfortable, each with a lovely veranda and a relaxing hammock, perfect for unwinding. The restaurant is excellent, with outstanding food of very high quality. The staff were truly professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed, making us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. We recommend this hotel very warmly and would happily return."
