"A peaceful and stunning location overlooking the fjords. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We even got to see the northern lights right through the window which was beautiful. We visited during winter, and it was easy to keep the place warm and cozy. The atmosphere was inviting and charming, both inside and out."
"The WiFi was quite slow. The area around the house looked a bit messy with wood and bits of random junk, probably leftovers from a collapse that happened a while ago, not a deal breaker, but it's there."

"The house was well-equipped and the living space was comfortable. The heating went on all day, the blankets were also quite warm. We loved the view too and that we could get a bit closer to the sea. Good to know: The house is only accessible (if you are not going by car) by walking on the edge of the main road where there is no sidewalk. Also, there is a longer and a bit slippery stairway down to the house."
"Negative: You cannot reach the room with the bunk beds if you have a big tummy, every path at the first floor is narrow. It was a bit sad that there was no covered terrace on the guest side."

"The location is fabulous immediately at the sea. It is possible to walk down a stairs and enter the sea for a swim. The apartment has a large porch where you can sit on lounge banks and enjoy the views. It was the end of our holiday, so the availability of a washer/dryer was also very handy"
"One has to go down some stairs which was ok for us, but maybe hard for people that do not walk easily. The kitchen equipment could be improved (e.g. nespresso type of coffee machine and a knife to slice the bread)"
"The views from this property are amazing and really that is the making of this property. The apartment is well equipped and has a nice modern feel. The owners have taken time to make it feel homely, there is a washer and dryer available to use and a hair dryer which was a nice touch. Location wise you're only a short drive into Trondheim so easy to see the sights. We saw either dolphins or porpoise one evening out in the fjord which were spectacular to see."
"There are unfortunately a few downsides to this property. You park just off the road and the designated parking place is small with part of the road crumbling down the hill. There is a longer parking place nearby that we decided to park in instead. As described when you read about the property there are a lot of steps down to get to it. This wasn't a problem for us, the steps are well made and easy to manage but if you have any mobility issues or have young children I don't think this would be ideal. Inside the property there is a spiral staircase to get upstairs to the bedroom. It is extremely tight and a bit wobbly. We decided not to take our suitcases upstairs as a result. The beds were very soft, this is down to individual taste but for us they were just too soft which didn't lead to a good sleep. The property is made up of two apartments, you have your own decked area each but it isn't as private as I had thought and you are mindful of not making too much noise, especially when out on the decking."

"It was amazing, a historic house fully renovated and overwhelming comfy in the Norwegian "nowhere" with hosts who really care of their guests, prepared many lovingly things and information. Our stay was way too short to try hikes in the wood or using the raw boat. This is an absoluty "yes, anytime again"!"

"We had quite low expectations, but the stay exceeded all of them by far :). We got a bit different rooms from what we’ve seen on the picture, or in our imagination… but they have only 5 special rooms, and all of them have their own story and design. The house is more than 200 years old, it has a long history, and you feel it in the air, in every small detail of the house, all the attention and details of décor. The house has impressive yard (if you are lucky with the weather), you can swim in the sea. The bathrooms and a toilet are shared among all the tenants, but we had no queues or overlapping with our other tenants staying the same night. It was one of the most unique hotels we stayed at, it has a soul! Lovely stay and experience for our family of four."
