Granbu er staðbundinn í Geilo. Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í 43 km fjarlægð frá Torpo Stave-kirkjunni og hægt er að skíða alveg að dyrunum. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru til staðar. Þetta sumarhús er búsettur á jarðhæð og er með 3 svefnherbergi, vel búið eldhús með uppþvottavél og ofni, stofu og flatskjá. Það er arinn í gistirýminu. Gestir í orlofshúsinu geta notið afþreyingar í og í kringum Geilo á borð við skíðaiðkun. Barnaleikvöllur er jafnframt til staðar fyrir gesti Granbu.

"We had quite low expectations, but the stay exceeded all of them by far :). We got a bit different rooms from what we’ve seen on the picture, or in our imagination… but they have only 5 special rooms, and all of them have their own story and design. The house is more than 200 years old, it has a long history, and you feel it in the air, in every small detail of the house, all the attention and details of décor. The house has impressive yard (if you are lucky with the weather), you can swim in the sea. The bathrooms and a toilet are shared among all the tenants, but we had no queues or overlapping with our other tenants staying the same night. It was one of the most unique hotels we stayed at, it has a soul! Lovely stay and experience for our family of four."
