Hotel Estheréa

"Móttakan og lobbýið framúrskarandi fallegt. Frábært að geta fengið sér kökur og kaffi þar. Barinn góður. Herbergið fallega innréttað. Staðsetningin frábær. Nespresso vél á herberginu og stór ísskápur komu sér vel. Sameiginlega snyrtingin á neðri hæðinni (fyrir neðan lobby) var einstaklega fallega innréttuð. Fallegu kettirnir í lobbýinu spilltu ekki fyrir. Starfsfólkið allt virkilega gott og almennilegt."

"Herbergið okkar (516) hafði ekkert útsýni og virkaði í fyrstu mjög þrúgandi en vandist svo. Okkur bauðst að skipta yfir í herbergi á 2.hæð sem var með útsýni yfir síkið en það var svo svakaleg graslykt á göngunum að við gátum ekki hugsað okkur það. Eins var það herbergi miklu minna og ekki með eiginlegu baðherbergi og vaskurinn inni í herberginu. Mun minni ísskápur þar. Bara sturta þar og ekki bað. Við skoðuðum líka herbergi á 3.hæð sem okkur leist ekki nógu vel á. Ákváðum því að halda okkur við 516. Það reyndist okkur vel enda á efstu hæð og heyrðist ekkert frá götu eða að ofan. Sváfum vel en rúmið aðeins of mjúkt og koddarnir alltof þykkir. Fyrir þetta verð þá hefði morgunmatur mátt vera innifalinn en kökur og kaffi í lobbýinu bættu upp fyrir það."

"Location was great to get around the centre. Rooms were beautifully decorated and toiletries provided were gorgeous. Communal areas were also very comfortable with refreshments provided free. Staff very friendly and helpful"

"Lifts not very big and quite often in use by housekeeping. Decor work being carried out, mainly flooring which was a little messy and noisy; we weren’t told about this at check in"

"From the moment we checked in everything about our stay was perfect. Staff were friendly welcoming and efficient. The hotel is well cared for very clean, with beautiful bedrooms- comfy beds, lovely amenities in rooms. The free refreshments in the lounge were a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice served on lovely china. The bar only serves light snacks but this wasn’t a problem as there are so many good restaurants just minutes away. We tried three restaurants recommended by the hotel - all different but all very good. Cocktails in the hotel are worth trying! Location is perfect and situated right on the oldest canal in Amsterdam. We like to book quality hotels with personality and hotel Estheréa is certainly that."

"Beautiful decoration throughout the hotel. Bedroom was small but very comfortable and well equipped. Courtyard View which meant nice and peaceful. Reception area just stunning. Loved grabbing a coffee and sitting in different areas. And of course a bonus of the two cats. We loved it"
