"The place is awesome, no way anyone can find anything to complain about! However....just be careful with the exorbitant "breakage" deposit and what that will cost you in the end. We got charged for a "broken glass" that no one knew of. And no one was at the property when we arrived to confer what was actually there so no way to prove whether this glass actually ever existed. The cost of this glass was still deducted from our deposit. Our friends in a neighbouring house got charged exorbitantly for a key that they never used. The excuse for the exorbitant cost of replacing this key was not its cost, but the cost to get the key from South Africa to Mozambique!"

"The staff, especially the manager Johnny, were outstanding and always ready to help/assist. Even the amicable owner was reachable and would ensure that guests were well taken care of. We also loved having breakfast while admiring the waves and morning sun. Walking on the beach everyday was a must and the sound of waves was very soothing. Although quite basic, Giraffe is a great place to just chill. Hotel also has a speed-boat and can organize the trip to Bazaruto and other islands."
