"For whatever reason we had no water supply in the evening and throughout the night but once I reported it was fixed relatively quickly. Also, this comment really has nothing to do with this hotel, just a small warning to anyone intending to use cash dollars in Malawi - bring new notes (they don't accept anything printed before 2009). "If you want something more upmarket in Lilongwe, this is the place. We had the (optional) dinner & it was excellent, freshly prepared in the open kitchen. Breakfast similar. We stayed for two nights rest and relaxation after long travel from the UK, then for our last night after three weeks travelling in the country. Totally suited our needs, including the nice swimming pool."
