Situated on a private island within the North Ari Atoll, it is a 1.5-hour speed boat ride or a 25-minute sea plane transfer from Male International Airport. "we had the full board deal, thank god. all food and drinks are overpriced. same as all extras. the final bill for the extras may be almost as the B&B bill. it is understandable that in an isolated place things are more expensive, thou it smells a little bit of taking an advantage. one thing I did not like is that the pictures of the villa showed by booking.com on my choice of villa were not for the villa we got. they in fact show the 2 br villa pictures (with the round pool) for every villa they sell but there is only one or 2 of those and not for the price advertised. in true honesty if they showed the real villa we got i may have chosen another property. overall the island is beautiful and the reef too, restaurants are good, breakfast too. But I did not get what I saw in the pictures. The resort is quite old and is getting ready to be restructured."
