"This place is simply amazing, what stands out is the attention to detail and the magical garden with pool. Highly recommend it for you nature lovers. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. There is plenty of parking space, a bakery and exquisite french restaurant just around the corner. Pro tip: watch your step when going to the pool, turtles are sometimes patroling the area."

Room was a little bit smelly but it wasn’t a huge issue for us

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

"I loved the calmness, convenient location and very supportive team. Cyril made sure I had the best experience in Victoria falls. He also helped me with all my activities and recommended great places for me to eat at or visit. The cottage is really small and stuffy esp when it’s hot. window without mosquito net, thus we cannot leave it open in the nite, too much mosquitos and horse fly.

"This place is magical. It is suited in the beautiful nature, when you wake up in the morning you only hear the birds singing. But the same time you are the city center in a few muinutes. I love the community style. You are allowed to use the drinks and snackbar anytime and on the base of trust you pay at the check out. I arrived from germany, and without any more costs, a late check in was possible. The owners were very nice and helped out with any questions. I definitly comming back and I warmly recommend this place!! ;-) Thank you."

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

"Everything. In summer, when the site is full of campers, the view from the cabin would be obscured by tents. But, end of September, when we visited, our view was green lawns sloping down to the river. Lovely."

Booking.com told us it was 7 miles from Vianden. It is not. 22-24 depending which route you choose. We had planned to go the 7 miles back to Vianden for dinner, but 22 winding miles? No.

"The host was super friendly and helpful! He helped us arrange room bookings further up the trek and even managed to get us direct flight tickets from Lukla to Kathmandu. Everything went really smoothly — would definitely recommend this place!"

He was also so relaxed about everything. I had the option to use a pool at another hotel as well which was great. "Beautiful lodge with individual rooms overlooking the park and landscapes. Everything is pleasantly decorated and very comfortable, with friendly staff and super delicious food. Individual room was small yet nice, with comfortable bed and great balcony to sit back on and overlook nature, very peaceful. Shower was hot and great pressure, and good Wifi connection too. Only stayed one night, could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommended."
