Leopard Trails er umkringt skógi og vatni við jaðar þjóðgarðsins og einstaklega nálægt hinu rólega Katagamuwa-hliði. Gestir geta upplifað óbyggðirnar í þægilegum, loftkældum lúxustjöldum eða í stærri svítum með setlaug. Sérfræðingar um náttúru leiða fólk í sameiginlegum ökuferðum, gönguferðum náttúruna, kynna stjörnuskoðun og bjóða gestum að auki upp á drykki við varðeldinn áður en þeir snæða við kertaljós! Leopard Trails er í um 4 klukkustunda akstursfjarlægð frá Colombo-borg og Bandaranaike-alþjóðaflugvelli. Það er á fullkomnum stað og auðvelt er að komast þangað frá öllum stigum, jafnvel frá Mattala Rajapakse-alþjóðaflugvellinum sem er aðeins 1 klukkutíma frá búðunum. Rúmgóð tjöldin eru öll loftkæld og með sérbaðherbergi og setusvæði fyrir hvert tjald. Fyrir utan safaríferðir geta gestir notið leikja og afþreyingar sem gististaðurinn skipuleggur eða slakað á í setustofunni með kokkteil eða eðalvín frá vel birgum barnum. Við erum með tvær tegundir af tjöldum á Leopard Trails Yala camp: The Leopard Trails Suites og Deluxe Tent.

Our guide for 3 Jeep safaris was amazing, highly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure throughout our stay also taking care of everything at the camp as well. A nod to our excellent driver who made sure we saw as much as possible on the trips. Camp tucked away up a bumpy dirt track away from tourist area. From our personal experience it is not at all surprising this place has achieved it’s high accolades from a variety of prestigious travel guides 👏"

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
