Þetta farfuglaheimili er búsettur á háskólasvæði Háskóla Íslands og í 10 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá miðbæ Reykjavíkur. Það býður upp á sameiginlegt eldhús og ókeypis WiFi á almenningssvæðum. Það er strætisvagnastopp fyrir framan farfuglaheimilið en þaðan er tenging við flugvöllinn og borgina. Öll herbergin á Student Hostel eru innréttuð á einfaldan hátt og eru með garð- eða borgarútsýni. Baðherbergisaðstaðan er sameiginleg. Á staðnum er kaffihús, veitingasvæði og bar ásamt bókabúð. Fjölbreytt úrval veitingastaða má finna í næsta nágrenni. Farfuglaheimilið hefur tvöfaldast í stærð og nýja byggingin er með 30 ný notaleg hreiður með nútímalegri hönnun, sérbaðherbergi og stórt fullbúið eldhús á hverri hæð. Tjörnin er í aðeins 50 metra fjarlægð. Þjóðminjasafnið er í 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Student Hostel og Hallgrímskirkja er í 1 km fjarlægð.

Beds are comfortable and there is a big shared room with a great kitchen and sofa for some hours with groups. The Hostel is an 8 minutes walk away from Tjörnin and the City Center. It’s right next to the University of Iceland."
