Fljótsdalsgrund er nýuppgert gistihús sem er staðsettur á ValSólófsstöðum, 7,9 km frá Hengifossi. Það er garður og tindaramynd á staðnum. "Starfsfólkið er mjög þægilegt. Morgunmaturinn er verulega góður og mikið úrval. Staðsetningin er góð."

"Vantar spegil i herbergið sjálft.. Vifta i baðherbergi er frekar hávær og á sama rofa og ljósið. Vantar lengri dökkar gardínur/myrkvunargardínur. Hundar eru leyfðir í gistiheimili."

"Nice authentic guesthouse with every comfort you need. Friendly owner and really helpfull staff. Had a great local dinner and excellent breakfast. The quiet area with sheep running around makes it even more special. Excellent to discover Hengifoss and surroundings."

"The property was amazing, such a lovely modern, well-equipped villa, literally in the middle of nowhere, yet just a ~30 min drive from the closest town! It's rare to say this on Booking, but in reality it is better than what you see on the photos. 10 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Super easy to communicate with the hosts and to get in - there is a lockbox at the door. The villa was squeaky clean, the rooms and beds super comfortable and the kitchen is impeccably equipped with everything you don't even know you might need. The highlight, of course, is the outdoor hot tub, which can comfortably fit 12 people. Watching the northern lights from there was quite literally a life-changing experience. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with, also shared with us a a super helpful information pack about the area and what we can do while we are there. 11/10 would recommend!"
